Application Documents
- Admission Application Form (to be completed online).
- A copy of applicant’s passport.
- Photocopies of the high school diploma and transcripts for all years are required. If the original transcripts are in a language other than Chinese or English, an additional notarized translation in either Chinese or English, authenticated by a Taiwan Representative Office or overseas mission, shall be provided. Please refer to the Appendix III (Standards for Recognition of Equivalent Educational Levels for University Admission).
- Autobiography in Chinese or English.
- Study Plan in Chinese or English.
- Other supporting documents beneficial to the application (e.g., résumé/CV, letters of recommendation, portfolio, etc.)
- Financial evidence of support for study in Taiwan: Proof of deposit in a bank account or proof of a scholarship from the government, the university or a private organization in the amount of US$4,000 (about NTD$ 120,000) or more. ※Financial statements should not be issued by agents, company names or individual certificates.
- Application Fee: No application fee is required.
Note 1:
If the submitted transcripts and proof of highest academic qualifications are issued by a foreign institution, and the University has reasonable grounds to doubt their authenticity, the Admission Committee may require the applicant to provide additional supporting documents duly authenticated by a Taiwan Representative Office or consulate abroad.
Note 2:
Applicants, when applying, must scan and upload all required documents. Upon registration at STUST, they must submit diplomas and transcripts authenticated by a Taiwan embassy or overseas mission. If any submitted documents are found to be forged, altered, or fraudulent, admitted students who have not yet registered will have their admission revoked, while enrolled students will be expelled from the university and may face legal consequences.
Note 3:
Accepted applicants must apply for the visas to the Taiwan overseas embassies & missions. For the accepted applicants who hold another visa in Taiwan, please change the visa at the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of China (Taiwan).
